Managing Digital Projects
π I was thinking the other day about how to explain to my peers in 5 minutes how I manage digital learning projects. The fast-paced technological advancements have given a whole new meaning to our modern-day way of learning.
However, developing eLearning is not always a walk in the park. If you are an Instructional Designer, you'd know the amount of effort, time, and hard work that goes into making ONE eLearning module, with expectations it needs to have the perfect graphics, attention-catching videos, crisp audio elements, and many more such things. Here is what I came up with!
π¬ Meet with SMEs and Ask Critical Questions - asking the right questions is crucial. SMEs have a great deal of knowledge and experience, gather as much information from them as possible.
π Set Time-Sensitive Goals
π² Agree on Collaboration Tools - we deal with a lot of individuals. There are high chances of missing something important or forgetting about a deadline with so much to handle.
πDraft a plan and get sponsor sign-off!
π€ Conduct Frequent and Productive Meetings - check-in if anything has changed or new information.
π§ Consistently keep a mindset of 'I GOT THIS'!
Hope those quick tips are helpful!
